Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop packaging line layouts and optimize packaging equipment design and specifications.
  • •Ensure packaging and packaging equipment meet regulatory and FMC safety standards, and support sustainability initiatives.
  • •Coordinate laboratory testing for chemical and physical compatibility and manage test methods, data analysis, and technical reports for packaging components.
  • •Drive packaging and equipment improvements, including trials and adaptations for new packaging configurations and materials systems.
  • •Maintain and publish packaging material specifications and support cross-functional projects with R&D, quality, supply chain, engineering, and outside customers/suppliers.

Key Requirements

  • •BS in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
  • •2–5 years of experience in packaging in a chemical-related field operation.
  • •Preferred: 5–7 years of experience in a chemical operations environment.
  • •Knowledge of packaging materials, packaging systems, and hazardous materials regulations, with ability to facilitate projects and negotiate for packaging services.
  • •Ability to make data-based decisions and communicate across interdisciplinary teams; knowledge of QA/statistical quality control is a plus.
