Key Responsibilities

•Receive repair orders from the dispatcher and perform work as outlined on the repair order in line with dealer and factory standards.
•Diagnose the cause of malfunctions and complete repairs.
•Communicate with the parts department to obtain needed parts and save/tag parts for warranty or customer requests.
•Examine vehicles to determine additional safety or service work, and notify the service advisor if additional work isn’t needed or if repairs can’t be completed within promised time.
•Supervise apprentice technicians, road-test vehicles when required, document work performed, attend factory training/classes, and keep the customer and shop areas clean while following all safety policies and regulations.
