Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and maintain detailed mechanical BIM models for building services systems.
  • •Create and update HVAC model elements and assemblies, including chilled water, ventilation, and smoke management systems models.
  • •Develop Revit families and parametric components, ensuring model standards, libraries, and templates are maintained.
  • •Generate technical drawings, sections, and schedules from models, supporting accurate extraction outputs.
  • •Prepare models for clash detection, support BIM coordination tasks, and ensure compliance with project BIM execution plans.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Architectural Technology, or related field.
  • •3-5 years of BIM modelling experience in a building services environment.
  • •Strong knowledge of mechanical building services systems and how they are represented in BIM.
  • •Proficiency in BIM tools including Revit (MEP), AutoCAD, and Navisworks; Dynamo is advantageous.
  • •Experience with Revit families/templates and understanding of ISO 19650 and BIM Level 2/LOD standards.
