Job Summary

Support smooth, efficient operations at the CHS Canton facility during the September 1–December 1, 2026 season. Under general supervision, you’ll perform general labor and safety-focused tasks including loading/unloading agricultural inputs, preparing trucks and railcars, operating/monitoring scale and dump systems, recording maintenance activities, maintaining inventory quality, and keeping work areas clean while assisting customers professionally.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform general labor responsibilities under general supervision to support facility operations.
•Prepare trucks and railcars for loading/unloading, including sampling and connecting/disconnecting hoses as needed.
•Load and unload agricultural inputs using heavy or light duty machinery/equipment and control/monitor load-out functions.
•Operate automated scale/dump systems and complete daily/weekly/monthly maintenance tasks, including lubrication and equipment inspections.
•Maintain inventory quality, keep work areas clean and safe (including grounds maintenance/snow removal), and report safety, repair, or maintenance concerns.

Key Requirements

•Meet the minimum age requirement.
•1+ years of experience in Operations and/or Business Operations.
•Ability to operate machinery such as loaders, conveyors, tractors, and track mobile.
•Ability to work extended hours during peak seasons to meet business demands.
•High School diploma or GED preferred.
