Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver public transport and freight rail planning projects, mostly for the WA market.
  • •Lead integrated multi-disciplinary project teams including rail operations and planning, engineering advisory, transport demand modelling, and transport planning/economics.
  • •Engage clients and stakeholders to shape public transport planning opportunities and develop action plans to win work.
  • •Lead bids for public and private clients in WA and nationally, supporting commercial and operational performance metrics.
  • •Support and mentor staff, lead safety culture initiatives, and contribute to the national Strategic Rail Planning Strategy targets.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Planning, Project Management, or equivalent.
  • •Achieved or eligible for industry accreditation/registration (e.g., Engineers Australia chartership, PIA Registered Planner, AIPM or PMI certification).
  • •Minimum of 5 years of relevant post graduate experience.
  • •Broad experience leading transport planning projects at the strategic level for public and private clients.
  • •Knowledge of Australia/WA business case development processes and the ability to produce technical reports, proposals, and papers.
