Job Summary

Electrical Estimator/Proposal Engineer responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates, techno-commercial proposals, and bid documentation for LV/MV switchgear, transformers, RMUs and PDU projects. Collaborates with engineering, procurement, sales and project teams, analyzes customer specs and tender documents, and ensures compliance with international electrical standards. Key Responsibilities

•Prepare detailed cost estimates, techno-commercial proposals, and bid documentation for LV/MV Switchgear systems, Transformers (including MV Transformers), RMUs and PDUs, and related electrical infrastructure for industrial and datacenter applications
•Analyze customer specifications, BOQs, drawings, and tender documents
•Perform costing, vendor evaluation, and risk analysis
•Support proposal development, bid strategies, and value engineering
•Collaborate with engineering, procurement, sales, and project teams and participate in technical discussions with clients and stakeholders

Key Requirements

•2 to 8 years of experience in proposal engineering / estimation for electrical systems costing and bid preparation
•Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (B.E./B.Tech – Electrical)
•Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to engage with multiple stakeholders (customers, internal teams, business leaders)
•Knowledge of LV/MV electrical distribution, switchgear, transformers, RMUs, PDUs; ability to review SLDs, schematics and datasheets
•Nice to have: datacenter projects experience and knowledge of estimation tools / ERP systems
