Job Summary

Support the learning and personal development of assigned students under the direction of the class teacher. Work within lesson frameworks, record and share student welfare and achievements, and contribute to students’ physical, emotional, and social well-being. Attend staff meetings and professional development days, and accompany students to extracurricular activities when required. Also support other areas or students as directed when working in collaborative settings.

Key Responsibilities

•Work within the framework set by the assigned teacher during lessons, including recording and sharing student welfare and achievements.
•Contribute to students’ well-being across physical, emotional, and social needs.
•Attend staff meetings and required professional development days.
•Accompany students to extracurricular activities outside school hours when required and agreed with the school and parents.
•Support other areas of the school and, when needed, assist other students in collaborative settings.

Key Requirements

•Experience or aptitude for working with students; previous teaching or teaching assistant experience is essential.
•High levels of written and spoken English and Arabic.
•Enthusiasm, commitment, and aptitude for working with students.
•Good teamwork skills and ability to work well as part of a team.
•Experience or aptitude working with students with special educational needs (previous experience preferred).
