Key Responsibilities

•Perform installation tasks for contracted projects, including cable pulls/terminations, system equipment/components setup, and rack fabrication/wiring.
•Lead and direct installation crews on smaller projects by coordinating and reporting progress to the Project Manager to meet time, scope, budget, quality, safety, and customer satisfaction requirements.
•Read and interpret system schematics and architectural/construction blueprints; use hand and power tools to solder/crimp connectors.
•Test point-to-point cabling, verify system functionality, and troubleshoot AV/network issues as needed.
•Communicate daily job site status and act as the customer liaison on site, coordinating with other trades and managing jobsite tools/equipment; travel to job sites as required.

Key Requirements

•2-4 years of audiovisual installation experience and an intermediate understanding of AV systems (e.g., projectors, screens, speakers, microphones, video conferencing, digital signage, control systems).
•Intermediate proficiency installing, terminating, and troubleshooting low-voltage cabling (HDMI, CAT5e/6, fiber optic), including conduit runs, cable trays, and wiring methods.
•Ability to read and interpret project system schematics and architectural/construction blueprints and use hand/power tools safely and efficiently.
•Intermediate ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues and understand network infrastructure integration with AV systems (IP-based systems, streaming, cloud-based services).
•Valid Driver’s License and ability to lift 50 pounds.
