Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and execute the strategy for construction and corporate client risks into the Italian market.
  • •Ensure underwriters comply with underwriting authority, pricing and rating guidelines.
  • •Steer and control the local portfolio to drive achievement of financial targets.
  • •Liaise with functional areas to review performance across the end-to-end underwriting life cycle.
  • •Work with Sales, Risk Consulting, Claims, and other product lines to support marketing strategies, cross-selling, product development, and business acquisition/retention.

Key Requirements

  • •Master’s degree in Industrial, Civil, Construction or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
  • •15–25 years of proven experience underwriting profitable risk engineering for corporate and construction risks and engineering professional firms.
  • •Proven leadership skills.
  • •Expertise in risk assessment and understanding of the policy administration life cycle.
  • •Fluent in English and Italian (written and spoken).
