Job Summary

Lead owner’s-representative delivery of baggage handling system (BHS) capital improvement projects for commercial airports across the western U.S. Oversee planning through commissioning, manage scope/schedule/budget and technical performance, run coordination meetings, and review engineering documentation such as submittals, RFIs, and change requests. Coordinate field observations, integrated testing, logistics/phasing, weekly and monthly reporting, and collaborate with airport owners, airlines, vendors, contractors, and internal teams to meet safety and schedule goals.

Key Responsibilities

•Serve as the client’s representative across planning, design, procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning of BHS projects.
•Manage day-to-day project activities and coordinate with airport stakeholders, consultants, contractors, equipment manufacturers, and internal teams.
•Monitor and control scope, schedule, budget, and technical performance; identify risks and implement solutions to maintain objectives.
•Lead project coordination meetings, prepare minutes, track action items, and ensure timely resolution of outstanding issues.
•Review engineering submittals and technical documentation for compliance; conduct field observations and coordinate functional/integrated testing and commissioning closeout activities.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 100,000 - 170,000 annually

Key Requirements

•BA/BS plus 6 years of relevant experience (or demonstrated equivalency).
•Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, construction management, or a related discipline.
•Experience managing or supporting aviation projects through design, construction, and commissioning.
•Experience serving as an owner’s representative on major airport capital improvement programs.
•Ability to travel as required and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite/Microsoft Project and tools such as Procore, Prolog, Aconex, or Newforma.
