Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and DOT inspections, including follow-up repairs in a mobile/field environment.
  • •Diagnose, adjust, and repair truck equipment across electrical, braking, cooling, engine electronics, steering systems, engines, transmissions, clutches, and differentials.
  • •Inspect, test, and troubleshoot defective equipment using tools such as handheld computers and pressure gauges; road test vehicles as needed.
  • •Manage parts inventory and equipment on the company service truck, including reconciliation and obtaining parts from vendors.
  • •Document repairs and DOT forms on repair orders, upload required photos/pictures, and maintain safety and compliance with OSHA, EPA, and DOT.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma/GED and 3 years’ experience in a related field (or alternative equivalent experience/education).
  • •At least 3 years of experience with refrigerated equipment.
  • •Possess and supply the required set of hand tools for the role.
  • •OEM training and certifications are preferred; complete all required company training.
  • •Be able to successfully pass DOT-regulated pre-employment background screening and DOT physical (or submit a qualifying DOT medical card).
