Key Responsibilities

•Manage and direct branch operations to ensure adherence to bank policies and procedures, supporting smooth day-to-day functioning.
•Supervise and schedule employees, provide leadership and coaching, and evaluate staff for recommended disciplinary action when needed.
•Deliver exceptional customer service, follow customer service standards, and meet or exceed operational and sales goals set by retail management.
•Oversee and support sales activities including cross-selling consumer loans, originating loan applications, and assisting with traditional and Roth IRA transactions.
•Ensure transaction validity, fraud prevention, cash drawer balancing, and compliance with regulatory reporting (including CTRs, SARs, Reg CC holds) and BSA/anti-money laundering requirements.

Key Requirements

•Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience/training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
•Minimum two-year banking experience (preferred).
•Proficiency in typing, 10-key calculator, and data entry.
•Excellent oral and written communication skills.
•Completion and comprehension of Southside Bank instructor-led classes including New Employee Orientation, Teller Training, Product Knowledge, Back to Basics Customer Service, New Accounts, Business Account Documentation, Loan School, and IRA Fundamentals.
