Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide birth doula support to clients through Loula’s network.
  • •Participate in Loula’s partnership process by completing the interest form and screening questions.
  • •Use Loula’s referral/matching program to connect with insured clients.
  • •Maintain required training and credentials (CPR, HIPAA, and liability insurance) as applicable.
  • •Build and manage your own practice as an independent contractor within a non-exclusive network.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 100 - 134 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •Completed 16 hours of birth doula training AND attended 3 births as a doula, OR 5 years of experience as a doula with 3 letters of recommendation.
  • •Adult and infant CPR training.
  • •HIPAA training.
  • •Liability insurance.
  • •Must be located in California (otherwise an introductory meeting won’t be possible).
