Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as technical advisor for the team and provide specialized input to studies and design
  • •Coordinate electrical systems with other disciplines and prepare technical requirements to meet project needs
  • •Supervise and review design of electrical normal, UPS and emergency power systems, and perform relevant analyses
  • •Review and approve work performed by electrical team members, including design calculations and drawings
  • •Prepare technical specification sections and mentor electrical team members

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 110,000 - 125,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •University Degree in Electrical Engineering and 6+ years of relevant experience
  • •Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation in Ontario in good standing
  • •Experience with electrical design for building services; knowledge of SKM, 208V, 600V, 4.16kV, 13.8kV, 27.6kV and 44kV systems per OESC/OCB/NEC/NFPA/IEEE
  • •Strong mentoring and leadership abilities; ability to supervise and review work of electrical team
  • •Familiarity with REVIT, AUTOCAD, Microstation, ETAP and SKM software (asset)
