Key Responsibilities

  • •Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver fraud risk modeling that supports product and business goals.
  • •Use Python and cloud-based technologies to extract insights from large volumes of numeric and textual data.
  • •Develop machine learning models across design, training, evaluation, validation, and implementation phases.
  • •Evaluate model risk for card fraud models used across application, transaction, and payment stages, for both first-party and third-party fraud.
  • •Build independent challenger models and execute rigorous challenges to improve model outcomes and reduce model failure risk.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 161,800 - 184,600 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s in a quantitative field with 5+ years of data analytics experience, or a Master’s in a quantitative field (or MBA with quantitative concentration) with 3+ years, or a PhD in a quantitative field.
  • •5+ years’ experience performing data analytics with strong statistical and model development/validation experience.
  • •At least 3 years’ experience with Python, Scala, or R.
  • •At least 3 years’ experience with SQL and experience with machine learning model development and deployment.
  • •Comfortable building models for fraud use cases, including backtesting and familiarity with evaluation metrics such as confusion matrices and ROC curves.
