Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver DDG 1000 Networks training for SCSTC, using Aegis functional-area combat weapons system IT expertise.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of related experience, including 1 year as an instructor in a formal Navy individual training environment (NEC 805A or 9502) with presentation skills.
  • •Education: Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (CS, EE, ITM, MIS) or an equivalent combination of education/certifications/training/work/military experience.
  • •Technical expertise with Aegis combat systems networks, including Linux/Red Hat/Cisco network knowledge and administrator-level experience.
  • •Must possess relevant instructor and training-system experience for effective and correct presentation of learning objectives; NEC 9502/805A (Instructor) is highly desired.
  • •Security clearance: Secret; must be able to support training with extended periods on your feet while instructing; US citizenship required.
