Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and execute a QA strategy aligned with product vision and business goals, and collaborate with cross-functional teams on quality standards and testing methodologies.
  • •Analyze source code to identify and close test coverage gaps; drive adoption of code coverage tools and techniques.
  • •Drive the establishment and optimization of CI/CD pipelines and advocate a test-first approach to integrate automated tests into development.
  • •Lead engineering excellence initiatives including best practices, code quality, and technical debt reduction; address impediments during retrospectives.
  • •Work within a self-directed Agile team to refine backlog, estimate features, identify risks/dependencies, and deliver sprint stories/tasks.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of experience in mainframe software development or related work with mainframe architectures, system internals, testing, and utilities.
  • •Experience with CA 1 Flexible Storage, Vtape, DASD Storage Management, DFSMS, Allocate, and/or other mainframe storage products and systems.
  • •Experience with QA automation tools and maintaining QA testing infrastructures.
  • •Experience across platforms including z/OS (USS and SMP/E), Linux, and VMWare (VCF/vSAN).
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineer or Computer Science (or global equivalent).
