Key Responsibilities

  • •Drive cultural transformation from AI-curious to AI-native engineering practices across all teams and champion adoption through data-driven enablement.
  • •Establish KPIs for AI tooling adoption (from current 50% to 100%) and implement interventions to accelerate uptake.
  • •Continuously evaluate and select emerging AI tools and design technical frameworks to integrate AI tools into development workflows and CI/CD pipelines.
  • •Lead proof-of-concepts for “Virtual Engineer” capabilities (e.g., standardized tasks, code refactoring, test generation) and define technical standards and guardrails.
  • •Develop the AI adoption roadmap, manage a $1M+ annual tool budget, communicate ROI and success metrics to leadership, and partner with Security and Legal for compliance.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of software engineering experience with proven expertise across multiple programming languages and paradigms.
  • •Deep hands-on experience with AI-powered development tools (GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, etc.).
  • •Strong understanding of LLMs, prompt engineering, and AI model capabilities/limitations.
  • •Experience with CI/CD, DevOps practices, and modern software development workflows.
  • •Proven ability to drive technical initiatives across large engineering organizations (500+ people) with change management and influence at senior levels.
