Key Responsibilities

  • •Coordinate and integrate engineering activity for the nacelle Thrust Reverser, accountable for engineering budget and schedule.
  • •Develop new concepts/technology enablers (TRL5+) and ensure engineering conformity to specifications, regulatory, and contractual requirements.
  • •Provide guidance and proactive direction to the subordinate engineering team’s decision-making and progress.
  • •Coordinate component technical work with marketing and potential customers for proposal activities.
  • •Drive design, development, and testing criteria in coordination with regulatory agencies to achieve certification requirements, including technical communication with the Customer Excellence team.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field (or an Advanced Degree in a related field) with minimum 12 years (or 10 years with an advanced degree) of relevant experience.
  • •Experience managing a team of engineers.
  • •Front-facing customer service experience and the ability to communicate verbally, in writing, and via presentations to technical and non-technical personnel.
  • •Engineering principles and theories experience, including structures design/stress and structural analysis (aero/thermo).
  • •Project management experience plus experience with continuous improvement tools and methodologies.
