Key Responsibilities

  • •Receive, catalog, and process incoming shipments of biological samples following established protocols.
  • •Handle samples safely and properly; ensure accurate, ethical, and compliant sample management under applicable federal regulations.
  • •Track sample inventory and status in LIMS and/or Google Sheets and perform periodic inventory reconciliation.
  • •Coordinate incoming and outgoing biospecimen shipments to and from CROs, partners, and collaborators.
  • •Maintain laboratory equipment per SOPs, recognize/escalate instrument malfunctions, and adhere to SOPs including participation in SOP reviews.

Key Requirements

  • •BS/BA in biological science or equivalent required.
  • •0-2 years of related laboratory experience.
  • •Hands-on pipetting experience (single/multi-channel micropipettes and serological pipettes).
  • •Working knowledge of LIMS and database query tools; proficiency with Microsoft Excel and SQL highly preferred.
  • •Ability to handle biological/PHI materials accurately and complete HIPAA/PHI and General Compliance training within the first 30 days.
