Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead a team of cybersecurity engineers focused on immediate response to active threats against systems.
  • •Implement and continuously evolve Starshield’s cyber defense strategy, assessing threats and developing countermeasures.
  • •Lead vulnerability discovery efforts, including internal bug hunts and creating a culture of continual curiosity.
  • •Drive improvements in incident discovery and response by collaborating with teams building internal security event detection systems.
  • •Work cross-functionally with engineers implementing security features and incident discovery tools to deliver results.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in computer science/computer engineering/computer security (or similar) and 7+ years of cybersecurity experience for active production systems, or 10+ years for active production systems.
  • •Experience leading a team of direct reports.
  • •Experience implementing systems for adversary detection and incident response.
  • •Experience performing Blue Team or Red Team assessments.
  • •Active Top Secret, Top Secret SCI, or DOE Level Q clearance, or ability to successfully obtain and maintain it.
