Key Responsibilities

•Participate in design and implementation of flight control algorithms for electric VTOL aircraft.
•Work cross-functionally to connect GNC requirements with other system requirements.
•Build simulations to verify and validate system requirements, and improve simulation fidelity and model capabilities.
•Analyze full-scale and subscale flight data to improve models and inform aircraft design and system architecture via trade studies.
•Author software requirements and test cases for GNC software; collaborate with Flight Test, Systems Engineering, and Systems Safety to design safe evaluations and correct deficiencies in the Flight Control System.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 175,000 - 220,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Strong knowledge of vehicle dynamics, optimization, and classical and modern control theory.
•BS in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or related field with at least 9 years of relevant experience OR MS with at least 6 years of relevant experience.
•Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink.
•Ability to verify complex systems and software efficiently.
•Experience collaborating cross-functionally to connect GNC requirements with other system requirements.
