Job Summary

Build full-stack, AI-first compliance tooling that helps Coinbase Compliance Agents increase productivity, drive automation, and improve KYC process accuracy. You’ll develop end-to-end user-facing features using Golang, React, and cloud infrastructure, lead third-party/vendor integration work, and architect platform improvements for reusable capabilities. Own reliability for tier-1 compliance systems, partner cross-functionally across product, design, security, and data, and mentor engineers on engineering best practices and observability.

•Build end-to-end user-facing features for AI-first compliance tooling that improves agent productivity and KYC process accuracy.
•Assess, select, and implement third-party tools and vendor integrations into the compliance agent experience platform.
•Drive cross-functional delivery of complex technical solutions with product, design, security, data, and peer engineering teams.
•Architect platform improvements that deliver reusable capabilities for multiple teams across the organization.
•Own reliability for tier-1 compliance systems and mentor engineers on full-stack design, coding best practices, testing, release/deployment, documentation, and observability.

Salary: USD 186,065 - 218,900 annually

Key Requirements

•5+ years of software engineering experience building large-scale systems with Golang and React, shipping user-facing features on cloud infrastructure.
•Experience implementing and operating third-party vendor integrations in external platforms.
•Proven experience building and running large-scale, high-traffic platforms with rate limiters, caching, load balancing, circuit breakers, and distributed debugging.
•Proficiency with event-driven architectures and service communication patterns (Kafka, MQ, SQL/NoSQL, gRPC, GraphQL, ETL) and contributing to technical architecture decisions.
•Experience working across distributed teams and time zones, translating complex technical concepts for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
