Key Responsibilities

  • •Own high-level vehicle subsystem systems architecture and define how mechanical, electrical, and software components interact.
  • •Author, maintain, and trace system and subsystem requirements through integration and test; produce interface control documents (ICDs).
  • •Integrate custom and COTS actuation and sensing systems onto vehicle platforms and troubleshoot integration issues across boundaries.

Key Requirements

  • •6+ years of hands-on systems integration and test engineering experience (exceptional candidates with 1–2 years may be considered).
  • •B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent hands-on experience).
  • •Ability to work across mechanical, electrical, and software disciplines and communicate credibly with specialists.
  • •Experience writing, managing, and tracing system and subsystem requirements on a formal engineering program.
  • •Experience integrating COTS actuation/sensing systems onto vehicles or other complex electromechanical systems (plus scripting proficiency such as Python).
