Key Responsibilities

  • •Support Hong Kong business verticals with legal advice across regulatory, IP, e-commerce, employment, privacy, competition, and technology issues.
  • •Advise, draft, and negotiate contracts with third parties including marketing partners, suppliers, and restaurants.
  • •Review products, features, and initiatives to provide practical business-driven legal advice while managing legal risk.
  • •Serve as a legal business partner in initiatives affecting all aspects of the business, communicating clearly to non-legal colleagues.
  • •Collaborate with legal teams in Berlin and the APAC region to standardize and align legal matters; improve standard agreements and processes, and instruct external advisors/counsel as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Law and called to the Hong Kong solicitor (or equivalent common law jurisdictions).
  • •1 to 4 years PQE with experience handling legal commercial matters in a leading law firm or in-house in a platform/e-commerce/internet technology company.
  • •Strong legal knowledge plus contract negotiations, writing, and drafting skills.
  • •Experience in fast-paced start-up/technology environments, managing multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • •Fluency in English; Cantonese and/or Mandarin is preferred but not mandatory.
