Administer and maintain F5 BIG-IP load balancing/Application Delivery Controller environments for an Air Force Intel system. Configure, deploy, troubleshoot, and optimize F5 traffic management (including GSLB/LSLB, SSL/TLS offloading, and iRules) while ensuring performance, availability, and compliance with security policies. Perform Windows Server software installation, daily health checks, upgrades/patches, incident response support, and documentation, working with network, systems, and security teams.

•Establish and maintain smooth operation of computer systems, including installing, configuring, and troubleshooting required products.
•Configure, deploy, and maintain F5 BIG-IP systems (load balancers/ADCs) and manage SSL offloading.
•Design and implement traffic management rules, including global and local server load balancing (GSLB/LSLB).
•Monitor F5 systems for health/performance, optimize configurations, and support incident response and root cause analysis.
•Develop and maintain documentation and standard operating procedures; assist with F5 upgrades and patches.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 80,000 - 85,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Must have current CompTIA Security+ certification.
•6–9 years (or commensurate experience) as a system administrator in a mid-to-large Windows environment.
•Experience with F5 BIG-IP systems, including load balancers, ADCs, and SSL offloading.
•Ability to perform daily system health checks and troubleshoot in a Windows environment.
•Experience developing standard operating procedures for system functions.
