Recommend approvals/denials or use delegated authority, collaborate with relationship managers, mentor junior underwriters, and support compliance with Bank Secrecy Act and KYC guidelines.

•Review cash flows and Moody’s spreads, conduct in-depth financial analyses, and recommend loan approvals or denials per bank policies.
•Prepare Credit Origination Memoranda identifying strengths, risks, and mitigating factors and assessing creditworthiness.
•Collaborate with Relationship Managers and Business Development Officers to gather information for complete credit assessment.
•Recommend loan structuring and alternative structures that may be more appropriate for the transaction.
•Mentor/support junior underwriters and follow Bank Secrecy Act and know-your-customer/enhanced due diligence guidelines, escalating suspicious activity as required.
