Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain equipment and facilities to keep them operating safely, productively, and reliably in support of plant reliability and continuous improvement.
  • •Follow plant and maintenance safety procedures and comply with applicable regulatory programs and good manufacturing practices (GMPs).
  • •Execute preventative maintenance and perform planned and unplanned corrective repairs, including installation and repair of parts, tools, and equipment.
  • •Analyze equipment failures using root cause analysis, breakdown failure analysis, and cause maps, and take actions to prevent reoccurrence.
  • •Interpret technical documents/diagrams and maintain facility/utility systems including mechanical, electrical, steam/chilling, HVAC, refrigeration, and related building systems.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED and at least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing facility performing mechanical and electrical inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs.
  • •Pass plant-specific maintenance test required.
  • •Some college or formal technical school education (preferred) with demonstrated skills in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, carpentry, plumbing, and welding techniques.
  • •Ability to troubleshoot problems involving variables in standardized situations.
  • •Experience in a food manufacturing environment (preferred).
