Support packed-machine operations within the production team to ensure smooth, efficient, and safe output. Erect boxes/trays for the packed product, perform quality checks, label and seal boxes correctly, and follow instructions for rejects and end-of-shift documentation. Maintain a clean, safe, and tidy work area, comply with health & safety, quality, and environment standards, and help with continuous improvement.

Job Function: Manufacturing & Production Operations

Key Responsibilities

•Support Production Operatives to ensure smooth and efficient running of the packed machines.
•Erect boxes or trays relevant to the job being packed.
•Check each product for all quality aspects and inform a Supervisor/Technician when not to specification.
•Ensure machines are running correctly and safely at all times, including shutdown and making safe if necessary.
•Seal and label boxes correctly, leave one box per layer for PSO PPQC checks, weigh and collage rejects, and transfer scrap trays to material units at end of shift.

•Confidence to challenge current practices and drive continuous improvement.
