Job Summary

Support governance, executive compensation, and shareholder engagement work for a broad range of clients within Aon Governance. Coordinate inputs from internal teams, prepare client-ready materials, conduct benchmarking and analysis on board structures and compensation, assist with proxy-season materials, and collaborate with senior consultants to deliver clear, decision-ready insights.

Key Responsibilities

•Support the execution of client projects by coordinating inputs from internal teams and preparing client‑ready materials (presentations, board/committee decks, meeting prep).
•Conduct research and analysis on corporate governance, board structures, and executive compensation, including benchmarking and market‑practice summaries.
•Assist with shareholder engagement and annual meeting preparation, including materials for proxy season and analysis of investor/proxy‑advisor policies and voting trends.
•Collaborate with senior consultants on project scope, timelines, and deliverables, while contributing to templates, best practices, and onboarding of junior analysts.
•Collect, validate, and analyze governance and compensation data, providing analytical input to white papers, articles, and presentations, with clear documentation.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree (JD, MBA, public policy, or related) preferred; typically 3–5 years’ relevant experience in consulting, governance, executive compensation, investor relations, proxy advisory, or legal/regulatory work.
•Experience in corporate governance, executive compensation, investor or proxy advisory analysis, or related legal/regulatory environments.
•Strong ability to manage multiple workstreams, meet deadlines, and deliver accurate, high-quality outputs.
•Excellent writing, analytical, and communication skills; able to synthesize complex information into clear, structured materials and collaborate with senior and cross-functional colleagues.
•Comfortable working with data (Excel-based analyses, governance databases) and translating analyses into clear charts/exhibits and decision-ready insights; familiarity with SEC rules, stock-exchange standards, and proxy-advisor frameworks is a plus.
