Key Responsibilities

  • •Safely operate snack packaging machinery for continuous production, including setups and changeovers between products.
  • •Maintain shift documentation (e.g., Metal Detector and Batch Order Verifications) and ensure packaging materials availability.
  • •Print labels using correct programs and maintain/adjust printers as needed.
  • •Perform nitrogen testing, span calibration/scale adjustments, and make minor scale and former adjustments.
  • •Monitor machine speed, weight control, product appearance, resolve quality issues, and perform preventive maintenance/minor repairs.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED and/or 1-year production experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • •Ability to lift 40+ lbs regularly and occasionally lift/move more than 50+ lbs with assistance.

  • •Able to perform packaging equipment operations including setups, changeovers, and troubleshooting.
