Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform installation tasks per project scope, including cable pulls/terminations, equipment/components installation, and rack fabrication/wiring.
  • •Lead and direct installation crews and mentor on-site technicians while verifying quality of work.
  • •Read and interpret electronic schematics and architectural blueprints, and use hand/power tools to perform installation tasks.
  • •Test point-to-point cabling and system functionality, and troubleshoot control/DSP-related issues as needed.
  • •Support project execution by coordinating daily jobsite status and documentation with the Project Manager, acting as a customer liaison, and coordinating with other trades.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 6–8 years of audiovisual, electronics, or related industry installation experience and a High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • •Advanced proficiency installing, terminating, and troubleshooting low-voltage cabling (HDMI, CAT5e/6, fiber optic) including conduit runs and cable trays.
  • •Expert-level understanding of AV systems and network infrastructure integration (IP-based systems, streaming, cloud-based services) plus complex troubleshooting using logs/traffic and diagnostic tools.
  • •Ability to lead and manage site teams on large-scale, complex projects, allocate resources, and meet timelines.
  • •Valid AVIXA CTS-I General Certification and advanced knowledge/use of AV installation safety codes and standards.
