Key Responsibilities

  • •Support manufacturing needs, including providing alternate parts definition and control as required.
  • •Create and lead an MRB team and produce all necessary supporting documentation.
  • •Conduct technical design reviews for electrical wiring systems and ensure adherence to industry best practices for wire harness design and installation (including listed standards).
  • •Mentor, train, and develop engineers in the Electrical Wiring team, including team performance reviews, improvement plans, technical growth, and succession planning.
  • •Review and approve documentation such as test reports, BOMs, and drawings; select optimal industry-standard components for specific design applications and requirements.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 172,800 - 216,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of proven experience leading multi-disciplined Electrical Harness Design teams for development and sustaining aircraft efforts.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
  • •Knowledge of and experience supporting Electrical Harness Fabrication facility requirements.
  • •Strong understanding of 2D/3D design toolsets and how they communicate, including Mentor Graphics Capital and NX (or similar).
  • •Knowledgeable of electrical harness certification requirements and capable of building/sustaining corporate schedules, budgets, and staffing plans with updates to senior leadership.
