Job Summary

Support American Airlines’ Regional Planning and Strategy organization by partnering with Network Planning and Crew Planning teams at regional partner airlines. Drive schedule improvement initiatives to enhance operational reliability, serve as the internal source of truth for regional crew capability information, and lead workforce planning readiness across regional carriers and ground handlers. Develop forecasts, presentations, industry studies, and KPI metrics to inform staffing supportability and special programs.

•Liaise with partner airline Network Planning and Crew Planning teams to improve flight schedules and pilot/flight attendant productivity.
•Drive operational reliability through targeted schedule improvement initiatives.
•Serve as external point of contact and internal source of truth for regional carriers’ crew capability information.
•Lead workforce planning readiness initiatives, including tracking and reporting, across six regional carriers and two ground handlers.
•Develop forecasts and presentations; lead deep-dive projects with the Ops Performance & Planning team; create industry studies and KPI metrics.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Aviation, Finance, or Accounting, or equivalent experience.
•At least 3+ years of commercial or operational experience.
•Preferred experience in areas such as Network Planning, Crew Planning, Operations Planning, Financial Planning, Revenue Management, or Fleet Planning.
•Advanced experience with Excel modeling and PowerPoint presentation development.
•Strong strategic business analysis acumen with excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills.
