Job Summary

Operate ready-mix trucks safely and professionally to deliver concrete products to plant yards, public highways/roads, and job sites. You’ll perform pre- and post-trip inspections, verify mix specifications, manage loading and unloading activities, and operate chutes to place concrete where directed. Maintain equipment cleanliness, keep records in an electronic tracking system, and ensure compliance with DOT requirements while meeting on-time, fit-for-duty expectations.

Key Responsibilities

•Operate ready-mix trucks safely in the plant yard, on public roads/highways, and at job sites to deliver products to commercial and residential areas.
•Perform pre- and post-trip truck inspections safely and accurately.
•Verify compliance with mix specifications after loading and at the job site.
•Drive the truck to and from loading/unloading locations and operate the truck chute to release concrete into the area to be poured.
•Clean the truck after each delivery, enter production activities into an electronic tracking system, and ensure DOT compliance.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED preferred.
•1 to 2 years related experience and/or training (or equivalent education/experience).
•Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence, and memos; ability to write simple correspondence.
•Ability to perform basic math (add, subtract, multiply, divide) using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
•Must possess or be willing to obtain a valid state CDL Class A or Class B and a DOT-standard Medical Card; may be subject to drug testing, medical exams, and physical agility testing.
