Job Summary

Ensure Belkin products comply with global safety, EMC/RF, and energy-efficiency regulatory requirements. Guide product design teams on electromagnetic compatibility and interference issues, create and review RC test plans and reports, and evaluate US, EU, and international regulations to manage compliance risk. Coordinate with engineering, industrial design, product teams, test labs, and regulatory authorities, including supporting audits, corrective actions, and sustaining certifications.

Key Responsibilities

•Ensure all Belkin products comply with global regulatory requirements for Safety/EMC/RF and Energy Efficiency.
•Manage assigned projects by reviewing PRDs during concept and planning and advising applicable standards by region/country.
•Create RC test plans, review test reports and certificates, and validate compliance with applicable safety/EMC/RF and energy-efficiency requirements.
•Guide product development teams on compliance issues and inform PDM/PGM teams of new or updated regulatory standards at least 12 months in advance.
•Support audits/investigations, define corrective actions, and monitor third-party test and certification labs; support sustaining and certifying production products.

Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

•BS in Engineering or equivalent with 7 years of Safety and Energy Efficiency experience.
•Minimum 5+ years of international regulatory compliance experience in testing labs or authorities focused on Safety and Energy Efficiency.
•Working knowledge of regulatory requirements and regional certification (GMA) requirements for wall chargers, power banks, and wireless earbuds.
•Strong understanding of global consumer electronics safety and energy-efficiency standards including UL/IEC 62368-1, UL2056, UL2054, UL1642, UL/IEC 62133-2, EN50075, BS1363-1, AS/NZS3112, and DOE/CEC/NRCan.
•Ability to write technical documents clearly and work with local certification processes and authorities; comfortable with Microsoft Suite and presentations.
