Key Responsibilities

  • •Occupy client or service roles involving sponsorship and/or strategic requirements.
  • •Manage client relationships and identify business development opportunities.
  • •Lead or contribute to preparation of bid proposals and/or manage key bids.
  • •Translate strategic and business needs into defined scope and requirements, and hold delivery teams accountable for outputs within cost and schedule tolerances.
  • •Provide governance, assurance, compliance, and oversight of major risks, issues, and change management to ensure benefits are realised.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience in a sponsorship role for large-scale infrastructure or capital delivery programmes/portfolios in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
  • •Degree-level education, relevant professional body membership, or equivalent professional experience.
  • •Extensive knowledge of project lifecycle stages, including business case development and mapping benefits/outcomes to define requirements.
  • •Experience navigating planning, regulatory, political, and environmental constraints.
  • •Strong commercial acumen with investment planning, contractual/commercial negotiations, and ownership of financial status.
