Key Responsibilities

•Provide advanced technical assistance and guidance for the design, development, and construction of building electrical systems across commercial, institutional, and industrial projects.
•Lead or support electrical engineering design for power distribution, lighting, grounding, life safety, and low-voltage systems.
•Perform and review electrical calculations (load, equipment sizing, voltage drop, grounding, and system analysis).
•Develop construction documents, specifications, and reports aligned with project and regulatory requirements.
•Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including mechanical, structural, architectural, and external stakeholders; mentor junior engineers and designers; provide QA/QC oversight on project deliverables; assist with project management responsibilities including scope, schedule, and budget tracking.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline; 5–7 years of relevant post-education experience in electrical design for building systems.
•Engineer in Training (EIT) certification is required.
•Proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD.
•Strong knowledge of electrical codes and standards (e.g., NEC, ICC, IECC) and ability to lead design tasks.
•Excellent communication, technical writing, and problem-solving skills; ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
