Job Summary

Ensure the stability, security, and performance of CHEP’s deployed Machine Vision and Machine Learning inspection applications. Execute testing, validation, simulation, and troubleshooting for existing systems, including assessing new cybersecurity patches and BAU updates. Develop automation tools to improve testing efficiency and support automated deployments, while producing technical documentation and using service-center data to drive continuous improvement. Collaborate with IT Security and technical teams to implement application updates and maintain IT security standards.

Key Responsibilities

•Execute testing, validation, simulation, and troubleshooting for existing MV/ML inspection applications to ensure stable operation.
•Implement and maintain testing and simulation procedures to assess the impact of cybersecurity patches, security tools, and BAU system updates.
•Develop and maintain software modifications to existing applications to meet CHEP IT Security standards and operational requirements.
•Design, develop, and support automation tools that improve testing efficiency and enhance system validation processes.
•Create documentation and gather/analyze data from service centers and operational environments to support testing, reporting, and continuous improvement.

Key Requirements

•Experience in software testing within a production or operational support environment.
•Manual and automation testing experience.
•C++ and Python programming knowledge, with ability to develop or modify software applications using appropriate tools.
•Ability to troubleshoot software applications, investigate system issues, and understand software maintenance and application lifecycle management.
•Experience producing technical documentation and test artefacts, including cybersecurity patching and related validation activities.
