Key Responsibilities

  • •Participate in supplier selection and onboarding, including supplier technical audits, performance/capability evaluation, and continuous improvement with suppliers.
  • •Drive supplier quality problem resolution and incident management using root cause analysis, corrective actions, and CAPA leadership.
  • •Collaborate with New Product Development teams to ensure engineering drawing requirements, specifications, and supplier involvement for design for manufacturability.
  • •Establish and improve supplier KPIs (quality, delivery, responsiveness, defect rate, corrective action closure, cost of poor quality) and run performance reviews.
  • •Lead corrective and preventive action requests end-to-end, including containment plan review and verifying effectiveness and sustainment.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical discipline.
  • •Minimum 3 years of experience in supplier quality engineering, manufacturing engineering, quality engineering, process engineering, or related technical supplier management roles.
  • •Working knowledge of mechanical parts, electronic assemblies, precision machining, welding, surface treatment, cleaning, assembly, and/or high-technology manufacturing processes.
  • •Strong understanding of quality systems and standards (e.g., ISO 9001), supplier audit practices, nonconformance management, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • •Proficiency with quality tools (8D, 5 Why, fishbone analysis, FMEA, SPC, MSA, PDCA) and ability to read/interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
