Key Responsibilities

  • •Create, assign, and monitor work orders; track machine service intervals and order parts.
  • •Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment, and/or oil-free air compressors.
  • •Diagnose equipment failures at the shop and on customer locations and complete repairs.
  • •Set up and operate equipment at the shop and on customer sites, either individually or with other technicians.
  • •Maintain complete daily documentation of work performed and assist with pick-up/delivery of equipment and parts.

Key Requirements

  • •Must own tools applicable to the position.
  • •Advanced mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience inspecting, maintaining, and repairing power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment.
  • •Experience reading and working from schematics and calculating nominal/effective tonnage or kW requirements.
  • •Superior customer service and teamwork with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • •EPA 608 certification preferred, or ability to obtain it within 6–12 months of employment.
