Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee and continuously improve Teaching, Learning and Assessments (TLA) quality across the school, ensuring standards move towards Outstanding and that assessment leads to improved student outcomes
  • •Lead QA processes, self-evaluation, SEF writing related to TLA, and develop improvement plans based on evaluations
  • •Drive staff development including induction programs for new teachers and ongoing professional learning
  • •Direct examinations and data teams to develop efficient systems that improve academic outcomes and monitor student progress across Key Stages
  • •Provide guidance on examinations and assessments, advise students around board examinations, and report progress to Senior Team and LAB to implement timely improvements

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor and Master’s degrees in any core subject and Qualified Teacher Status
  • •Experience as subject Head of Department (HOD) or leading teaching, learning and assessments in a multicultural school
  • •Strong knowledge of National Curriculum for England and experience implementing QA systems
  • •Proven leadership and organizational skills with strategic problem-solving ability
  • •Excellent communicator with the ability to lead induction programs and drive staff development
