Key Responsibilities

•Receive, pay out cash, handle negotiable items, loan payments, deposits, withdrawals, and transfers.
•Set up, close, and balance teller station, including assisting with balancing vault, ATM, night drop, and coin machine as assigned.
•Record sales of monetary instruments and maintain a neat, well-stocked teller area.
•Cross-sell bank products and services and open basic new consumer accounts through cross-training.
•Follow established limits and bank policies/procedures, complete required BSA/AML and other compliance training, and assist with document scanning and proof work.

Key Requirements

•Must have a high school diploma or GED and 12 to 18 months related experience and/or training.
•Ability to effectively communicate information and respond to questions in person-to-person and small group situations.
•Basic math skills including ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide, including work with money and measurement.
•Ability to use common sense to carry out simple multi-step instructions and handle standardized situations with limited variables.
•Must maintain a positive, friendly, professional attitude and be flexible with the work schedule.
