Job Summary

Provide technical guidance for structural engineering deliverables across infrastructure and transportation projects, supporting design safety, structural soundness, and functionality. Conduct research, inspections, and structural analysis using advanced modeling techniques, including AI/machine learning optimization. Develop construction plans, specifications, cost estimates, and safety/phasing plans while ensuring compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations. Collaborate cross-functionally and prepare technical reports, calculations, and 2D/3D illustrations.

Key Responsibilities

•Collect, compile, and analyze site and engineering data (surveys, blueprints, GIS, hydrologic and geotechnical inputs) for project development and construction design.
•Perform structural engineering research and inspections to verify compliance with rules, standards, and permits for existing and proposed site conditions.
•Develop construction plans, specifications, and cost estimates, including safety and phasing plans, coordinating with owners and other disciplines.
•Build and apply advanced structural modeling and analysis techniques, incorporating AI/machine learning optimization and future-ready design standards.
•Prepare technical reports, visualizations, and documentation; maintain QA/QC and support health and safety planning and regulatory compliance.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering (or closely related discipline) or equivalent experience.
•5 to 7 years of relevant post-education engineering experience with prior structural or civil design experience.
•Essential professional licensure/certification.
•Proficient knowledge of structural engineering principles, practices, and design/build applications.
•Proficiency with structural design/analysis software and technical writing for deliverables and documentation.
