  • •Compact asphalt, soils, and aggregate to meet compaction specifications.
  • •Use knowledge of rolling patterns and vibrating frequencies during compaction work.
  • •Follow project grades and apply basic measurements and mathematical skills as needed.
  • •Maintain reliable attendance and a positive attitude while meeting company standards.

Key Requirements

  • •Preferred experience operating an asphalt roller on road construction projects.
  • •Operate equipment safely and efficiently and be able to follow grades.
  • •Know asphalt and aggregate characteristics, rolling patterns, and vibrating frequencies relative to maximum depth.
  • •Be able to repetitively lift 30 pounds and perform physical activities such as walking, stooping, squatting, sitting, and kneeling.
  • •Pass required physical examination and maintain reliable attendance.
