Key Responsibilities

  • •Build and lead a safe, collaborative team of around 6-8 direct reports, coaching engineers and setting clear expectations for independence.
  • •Own reconciliation domain execution: accurate transaction verification, cashback awarding, and improving post-claim user recovery flows.
  • •Drive quality and operational excellence across the reconciliation stack, including accuracy, reliability, observability, scalability, and decision-making.
  • •Maintain secure, resilient, production-ready systems and improve engineering standards across performance, speed, and iteration safety.
  • •Partner with Product, Design, Data, Consumer Ops, and partners to align roadmap and strategy to transaction success and user trust while contributing hands-on and applying AI to accelerate development and debugging.

Key Requirements

  • •3+ years of engineering management experience, with a track record of scaling teams and leveling up systems.
  • •Comfort going deep technically across mobile and API infrastructure, including distributed systems experience.
  • •Hands-on familiarity with mobile and API development patterns such as serverless, event-driven architectures, REST, and microservices.
  • •Experience with back-end data tools such as Snowflake and Hex (or similar).
  • •Strong bias toward clarity and a genuine curiosity about using generative AI to improve how teams build and debug.
