Job Summary

Responsible for general ledger accounting and reporting within a Finance Shared Services environment. Supports month-end close, ensures accurate ERP postings, prepares reconciliations, and maintains SOX compliance while coordinating with PTP, OTC, Treasury and Tax to resolve accounting issues.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform general ledger accounting activities, including journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations.
•Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities in line with defined timelines.
•Ensure accurate and timely posting of accounting entries in the ERP system.
•Prepare and review balance sheet account reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
•Ensure compliance with internal controls, SOX requirements, and audit standards.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
•Previous experience in an accounting or RTR role within a Shared Services or corporate environment (preferred).
•Proven experience performing intercompany reconciliations.
•Solid understanding of accounting principles, with exposure to Spanish GAAP and IFRS (including IFRS 16).
•Experience working with ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, Maconomy, or similar).
