Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver reliability studies and improvement work across fixed assets, including bad actor analysis, repeat failure reviews, and key reliability/performance loss investigations.
  • •Identify and investigate systemic reliability issues across sites, asset classes, and the value chain using cross-site data and operating experience.
  • •Lead and support defect elimination and failure investigations using fit-for-purpose methods, from 5 Whys to formal root-cause and causal analysis.
  • •Review maintenance strategies and apply FMEA/FMECA, RCM-style methods, and tactic optimisation to improve reliability, maintainability, and lifecycle performance.
  • •Perform reliability, survival, and Weibull analysis and use lifecycle cost and decision models to support repair/replace/overhaul and other lifecycle decisions.

Key Requirements

  • •Demonstrated reliability engineering and defect-elimination capability using structured problem-solving in a complex industrial environment.
  • •An engineering qualification or equivalent with demonstrated technical and reliability engineering or Asset Management experience.
  • •Strong root cause analysis and failure investigation skills, including selecting and applying fit-for-purpose investigation methods.
  • •Practical experience with Weibull analysis and reliability/maintenance strategy methods such as FMEA/FMECA and RCM-style approaches.
