Job Summary

Structural Engineer responsible for designing and supervising building, transportation and civil structures in Buffalo, NY. Leads multi-disciplinary design efforts, prepares construction documents, performs analyses, and mentors junior staff while coordinating with owners, sub-consultants and clients to ensure safety, compliance and project readiness across buildings, bridges, data centers and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead and contribute to the design and analysis of structural systems for buildings, bridges and infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with codes and project specifications.
•Prepare construction documents, calculations, and reports; coordinate with owners, sub-consultants and clients to align scope, schedule and budget.
•Develop construction plans, cost estimates, and safety/phase plans; update infrastructure layouts coordinating with multiple disciplines.
•Incorporate advanced modeling techniques and design considerations to ensure safety, durability and functionality for end users and transportation systems.
•Provide guidance and training to junior engineers and ensure QA/QC adherence while maintaining high-quality documentation and presentations.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 79,800 - 108,230 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering
•3 to 5 years of relevant post-education engineering experience with structural or civil design
•Engineer in Training Certification
•Proficient knowledge of structural engineering principles and design/build processes
•Experience with infrastructure planning, design and construction management; familiarity with sustainability concepts and regulatory requirements
