Job Summary

Install and configure audio-visual systems on AVI-SPL customer sites by running and terminating low-voltage cabling, mounting rack systems, and performing related metal fabrication as directed. Read electronic schematics and architectural blueprints, use hand and power tools to solder and crimp connectors, and troubleshoot basic AV equipment and network-integrated AV systems. Coordinate with a Lead Technician to meet safety, quality, time, scope, budget, and customer satisfaction goals, including travel between job sites.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform installation tasks on AVI-SPL contracted projects, including cable pulls, cable terminations, and system equipment installation.
•Read and interpret electronic schematics and architectural blueprints to support installation work.
•Use hand and power tools to solder and crimp connectors, and assist with AV system installation tasks.
•Assist the Lead Technician with management and security of equipment and tools on the jobsite.
•Travel to various job sites and support basic mechanical fabrication, rack systems, and wiring as needed.
